This movies was on the last chance section of HBOMax so what not watch it?

First few seconds the only thing I can think of is ‘what in the entire fuck!’ One of my fears in life is being an astronaut and floating away in space or entering into the atmosphere after the tether that holds me to the ship gets cut; Leaving me to burn up on my descent back into the earth’s atmosphere. First scene in this movie Natalie Portman is just floating in space looking at the blips of lights as they shine from the surface. I would’ve shit myself but instead this character seems to be in awe of what she is looking at. To only return to earth wishing to be back in space if only for a moment.

After touching back down on earth the main characters driving force is to return back to space. Reminiscent of Martin Sheen I’m Apocalypse Now. She doesn’t care about awards or family life. She cares about being back in space.

Kids? Fuck that! I want to be back in space.

Responsibilities? Fuck that! I want to get back into space.

Therapy? Who cares if I’m going crazy! Get my ass back into space!

Drunken sex with her husband? Nah she wants that zero gravity D!

Favorite line: I’m going outside to smoke like a hobo.
